News Alert) - CableClix, USA, Inc. (OTC:CCLX) ("CableClix") has augmented its team of industry leaders by engaging award-winning Dale Herigstad, to conceptualize the interface needed to personalize and dramatically improve the TV-streaming experience for cord-cutting viewers around the globe.
Dale, four-time Emmy-winner and internationally recognized thought leader in interaction design, will reimagine the TV-viewing interface to ensure CableClix's platform dramatically improves viewer experience and opens up a new generation of cord-cutting content consumption.
Dale was part of the concept pre-visualization team for Spielberg's 'Minority Report', investigating what digital experiences would be like 50 years into the future, exploring the role of gesture and display. Dale's impact is seen across the industry: he was hired by Samsung to rethink the future of TV; and he has created the interaction component for dozens of media middleware interfaces on three continents, including Cablevision (iO), Time Warner (Symphoni), Starz (Vongo), Sony Design (Capri, Surf Space), Freesat, Mediaset, Comcast, DirecTV, BBC, and Orange. Dale has taught Motion Graphics at California Institute of the Arts, Art Center College of Design, and UCLA. Dale's boundless creativity and imagination ensures products can introduce significantly increased functionality that viewers are able to interact with effortlessly. Dale joins Cauri Jaye, CableClix Chief Product Officer, hired in February. Cauri said, "Having worked with Dale on over half a dozen interactive products, I'm confident he is best-placed to solve one of the industry's greatest challenges: how to create a seamless user experience for browsing and watching TV on digital screens."
Dale and Cauri are supported by Jason Schoch, also joining the team this month. Schoch is a research-focused user experience (UX) designer, and expert at user-testing - an integral role for a product in a market where no one has yet created an interface that fully meets user needs.
CableClix's growing team is using big data twinned with AI (Artificial Intelligence) to perfect the personalization of TV content, and capture valuable data that tracks rapidly-changing viewer behavior in the global online TV-streaming market.
CableClix is an innovative 'cord-cutting' company that builds virtual cable networks over the Internet that mimic existing cable television franchises by providing live-streaming television services. The company was formed in 2013 to be a leading provider of high-definition streaming television over broadband connections. Our goals remain as they were at our inception; deliver quality television programming in high and ultrahigh definition, including local network content, directly to the local consumer, on nearly any device, at any time.
