ESGOLD INTERSECTS MULTIPLE SULPHIDE-BEARING INTERVALS AS MONTAUBAN DRILLING SURPASSES 2,000 METRES

Approximately 400 core samples submitted for assay as ESGold advances its 5,000-metre drill program

Vancouver, BC – September 24, 2026 – ESGold Corp. (CSE: ESAU) (OTCQB: ESAUF) (FSE: Z7D) (the “Company” or “ESGold”) is pleased to provide an update on its 2026 diamond drilling program at the Montauban Project, located approximately 80 kilometres west of Québec City, Québec.

As of September 15, 2026, ESGold had advanced 19 drill holes for a cumulative total of approximately 2,030 metres, marking an important milestone in the Company’s 2026 exploration program.

Importantly, drilling continues to intersect alteration, quartz-carbonate veining and locally sulphide-bearing intervals within the geological environment associated with the historic Montauban mineralized system.

Observed sulphides to date include pyrite, pyrrhotite and galena, locally occurring within or adjacent to quartz-carbonate veins, altered gneissic units and structurally affected intervals.

Approximately 400 core samples have now been submitted to SGS Laboratories in Val-d’Or for analysis, with assay results pending.

“Passing 2,000 metres is an important milestone in our 5,000-metre program, but what is particularly encouraging for us is what we continue to see in the core,” said Gordon Robb, CEO and Director of ESGold. “We are repeatedly encountering alteration, quartz-carbonate veining and sulphide-bearing intervals within the geological environment associated with the historic Montauban mineralized system.

“With approximately 400 samples now at SGS Laboratories in Val-d’Or, the next step is determining the significance of what we are seeing. At the same time, drilling continues as we test how this system may extend beyond the historic workings and at depth. Every hole is giving us more information to integrate with the historic mine data, ANT geophysics and our 3D geological model.”

Highlights

  • ESGold has completed approximately 2,030 metres across 19 drill holes as part of its planned 5,000-metre 2026 diamond drilling program.
  • Drilling has repeatedly encountered alteration, quartz-carbonate veining and locally sulphide-bearing intervals within the geological environment surrounding the historic Montauban mineralized system.
  • Observed sulphides include pyrite, pyrrhotite and galena, locally associated with quartz-carbonate veining, alteration and structurally affected intervals.
  • Approximately 400 core samples have been submitted to SGS Laboratories in Val-d’Or for assay.
  • Nine drill holes have intersected historic underground workings or voids, providing valuable geological control for reconciling modern drilling with the geometry of the former mine.
  • Drilling remains ongoing as ESGold evaluates the potential continuation of the Montauban system outside and below the historic mine workings.

Sulphide-Bearing Intervals Observed in Drill Core

Core logging completed to date has identified repeated sequences of amphibolite and quartz-feldspar-, biotite- and muscovite-bearing gneisses together with zones of silicification, chlorite-sericite alteration, deformation and quartz-carbonate veining.

Sulphides have been observed within or adjacent to quartz-carbonate veins, altered gneissic units and structurally affected intervals in holes including MM-26-03, MM-26-04 and MM-26-11.

These observations are significant from a geological targeting perspective because they provide direct information on the alteration, structural features and lithological contacts associated with the historic Montauban mineralized environment.

Visual observations are not necessarily indicative of economic mineralization and laboratory assays are required to determine metal grades.

Testing Beyond the Historic Mine

The 2026 drill program is designed first to confirm the presence and continuity of mineralization along the main mineralized structure, and then to extend beyond the historical underground workings to test additional targets and potential extensions of the system. The drilling program is testing the geological interpretation developed from historical mine information, ESGold’s drillhole compilation, ANT surveys by CAUR Technologies, and 3D geological modelling by Geomatic World.

Each new drill hole provides direct geological information that can be incorporated into the evolving 3D model and compared with features interpreted through the ANT surveys.

Assays and Next Steps

Core logging, cutting and sampling are continuing as drilling advances toward the planned 5,000 metres.

Approximately 400 samples have been submitted to SGS Laboratories in Val-d’Or for analysis. Assay results will be reported as they are received, reviewed and validated under the Company’s QA/QC procedures.

The Company will use the combined geological, structural and assay information to refine the integrated 3D geological model, correlate new drilling with historical mineralized zones and underground workings, and prioritize additional shallow and deeper targets designed to test potential extensions of the Montauban system.

Next Steps

Core logging and sampling are continuing as the drilling program advances.

As part of this first exploration phase, the entire drill core is being sampled and analyzed to ensure that the maximum amount of geological and geochemical information is collected.

The Company intends to use the combined geological, structural and assay information to:

  • refine the integrated 3D geological model;
  • evaluate the relationship between mineralization, lithological contacts, alteration and structural features;
  • prioritize additional shallow and deeper drill targets designed to test potential extensions of the Montauban system.

Laboratory assay results will be reported once received, reviewed and validated in accordance with the Qualified Person’s QA/QC procedures.

ESGOLD ADVANCES MONTAUBAN COMMISSIONING WITH ARRIVAL OF KEY PROCESSING EQUIPMENT

Falcon Gravity Concentrator and Thickeners Arrive at Site as Commissioning Activities Continue Across the Montauban Processing Facility

Vancouver, British Columbia — September 10, 2026 — ESGold Corp. (CSE: ESAU | OTCQB: ESAUF | FSE: Z7D) (“ESGold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the arrival of additional key processing equipment at its fully permitted Montauban Gold-Silver Project in Québec as installation, integration and commissioning activities commissioning activities continue across the Company’s 1,000-tonne-per-day processing facility.

The newly arrived equipment includes a Falcon Gravity Concentrator manufactured by Sepro Mineral Systems and a series of industrial thickeners supplied through A.M. King. These components represent important additions to the Montauban processing circuit and will now move through installation, integration and commissioning as part of the Company’s broader plant advancement program.

With the main mill infrastructure nearly completed and major equipment continuing to arrive at site, ESGold is progressively assembling and commissioning the systems required to bring the Montauban processing facility into operation.

The arrival of these components represents another important milestone in ESGold’s ongoing plant commissioning program. Commissioning activities have commenced at Montauban and will continue to advance progressively as individual systems and components are installed, integrated and prepared for operation.

The arrival of these components represents another important milestone within ESGold’s ongoing commissioning program, as equipment installation, mechanical and electrical integration, system testing and operational readiness activities continue across the Montauban processing facility.

Key Equipment Arrives at Montauban

Sepro Falcon Gravity Concentrator

The Falcon Gravity Concentrator, manufactured by Sepro Mineral Systems, is an enhanced gravity separation system designed to recover liberated precious metals from mineral-processing streams. Using high-speed centrifugal forces, the system increases the effective gravitational force acting on mineral particles, allowing heavier valuable minerals to be separated from lighter material. Falcon concentrators are particularly effective in recovering fine liberated gold, silver and other precious metals.

At Montauban, the Falcon will form an integrated part of the broader processing flowsheet and is intended to support overall precious-metal recovery. It will operate alongside the plant’s other separation, thickening, leaching and recovery systems as part of the complete processing circuit.

Image 1: Falcon Gravity Concentrator, manufactured by Sepro Mineral Systems

Industrial Thickeners

The series of thickeners will play an important role in solid-liquid separation within the Montauban processing circuit. Mineral slurry entering the thickeners is allowed to settle under controlled conditions, producing a higher-density underflow while the clarified overflow can be recovered and reused within the process.

Effective thickening supports both process control and water management by maintaining appropriate slurry conditions for downstream processing while reducing fresh-water requirements. At Montauban, the thickeners will form an integrated part of the broader processing flowsheet as installation, integration and commissioning activities continue across the facility.

Image 2: Industrial thickener supplied through A.M. King

From Equipment Procurement to Plant Integration

The arrival of the Falcon Concentrator and thickeners follows ESGold’s previously announced equipment procurement program and the Company’s technical inspections of manufactured equipment prior to shipment. With the main mill building complete and major processing components continuing to arrive at site, ESGold is advancing installation, integration, testing and commissioning activities across the Montauban processing facility.

The facility is designed around a permitted processing capacity of up to 1,000 tonnes per day and incorporates a Merrill-Crowe recovery circuit. The broader flowsheet includes screening and separation, grinding, cyanide leaching, clarification and de-oxygenation, Merrill-Crowe precipitation and doré production. Commissioning activities have commenced and will continue progressively as additional equipment and individual process systems are installed, integrated and tested.

“Every major piece of equipment that arrives at Montauban makes the progress at site increasingly tangible,” said Gordon Robb, Chief Executive Officer of ESGold. “The Falcon Concentrator and thickeners are now at Montauban and moving into the next stages of installation, integration and commissioning. We have invested considerable time and capital building the infrastructure required to reach this point, and our focus is increasingly on bringing the various components of the processing circuit together in a controlled and systematic way.”

Pierre-Marc Gagnon, P.Eng., Operations Director of ESGold, added: “From an operations perspective, the arrival of this equipment allows us to continue advancing installation sequencing and integration across the plant. Commissioning is a progressive process, and each component that is installed, connected and tested moves the overall processing system forward. There is still work to complete, but the transition from construction into commissioning and operational preparation is well underway.”

Montauban: Advancing Operations and Exploration

ESGold’s strategy at Montauban combines the advancement of its fully permitted tailings-reprocessing operation with district-scale exploration across the broader property. The Company’s objective is to establish recurring operating cash flow from the reprocessing of historic tailings while continuing to evaluate the longer-term mineral potential of the Montauban mining camp.

With commissioning activities underway, major processing equipment continuing to arrive and a permitted 1,000-tonne-per-day processing platform in place, ESGold continues to advance the work required to bring the facility into operation. At the same time, the Company is pursuing exploration across its expanded land position, creating potential exposure to both near-term operating cash flow and longer-term discovery and resource growth.

The Company remains focused on disciplined execution as installation, integration and commissioning activities continue at Montauban.

ESGold Commences Diamond Drilling at Its Montauban Project, Québec

Vancouver, BC – September 3, 2026 – ESGold Corp. (CSE: ESAU) (OTCQB: ESAUF) (FSE: Z7D) (the “Company” or “ESGold”) is pleased to announce the commencement of its 2026 surface diamond drilling program at the Company’s Montauban Project, located approximately 120 kilometres west of Québec City, Québec.

The commencement of drilling marks an important milestone in ESGold’s systematic evaluation of the broader geological and exploration potential of the Montauban property.

The current program consists of approximately 5,000 metres of surface diamond drilling across 29 proposed drill holes, with a principal focus on the historic Montauban mine area.

Forage Lamontagne has been selected as the drilling contractor for the program.

The drilling campaign will be conducted under the geological supervision of Merouane Rachidi, P.Geo., Ph.D., of GoldMinds Geoservices, who prepared the current drilling program and will oversee all geological aspects of the campaign, including drill-hole implementation, core logging, sampling and geological interpretation.

The initial drilling program was designed using extensive historical drilling and geological data from the Montauban mine area. The proposed holes are generally oriented east-west and positioned to test mineralized zones and the continuity of the geological structures interpreted from previous work.

Image: Drilling contractor and drill rig

Principal Objectives of The Drill Program

  • Validate mineralization within areas previously identified as mineralized
  • Test continuity between historical drill holes and mineralized panels
  • Investigate potential extensions of mineralization into areas that remain insufficiently tested.

This drilling program is designed not only to test individual mineralized intervals, but also to strengthen ESGold’s understanding of the geological architecture and controls on mineralization within the historic Montauban mine area. It will also test and validate mineralization documented through historical drilling and referenced in previous technical reports and historical estimates. By generating modern geological, analytical and QA/QC data, the program may help the Company evaluate this historical information and determine what additional work required to support a current mineral resource estimate in accordance with NI 43-101.

The historical estimates should not be treated as current mineral resources or mineral reserves, and a Qualified Person has not completed sufficient work to classify them as current mineral resources or mineral reserves.

Image:  Core samples from the Montauban mine property

Building a More Comprehensive Geological Model

ESGold is undertaking the drilling program as part of a broader effort to integrate the significant amount of historical geological, drilling and geophysical information available for Montauban with the Company’s recent exploration work.

The new drill core will provide substantive geological and analytical data that can be incorporated into the property’s evolving three-dimensional geological interpretation. Together with the historical drilling database, these results are also expected to help the Company assess the reliability and relevance of mineralization described in previous reports and determine the scope of any future work required for a current mineral resource evaluation.

As drilling progresses, the Company will continuously evaluate new results alongside historical drilling data, geological interpretations, and available geophysical data. This integrated and iterative approach enables ESGold to refine its geological model, prioritize emerging targets and adjust the drill program as new geological and analytical information becomes available.

“The commencement of drilling marks an important milestone for ESGold as we begin systematically testing the Montauban Project using the extensive historical database together with the modern geological work completed by our team,” said Gordon Robb, CEO of ESGold. “Our focus is on defining the continuity and geometry of known mineralized zones, testing areas of mineralization identified through historical work, and building the geological framework needed to assess the broader exploration potential across the property.”

André Gauthier, Geological Engineer and Director of ESGold, commented:

“Montauban has benefited from substantial historical exploration, including previous technical reports that referenced historical estimates of mineralization. Our objective is not to treat those historical estimates as current resources, but to generate new drilling, geological and analytical information that will allow us to test the mineralization documented by earlier work, evaluate continuity between historical holes and determine what additional work may ultimately be required to support a current mineral resource evaluation.”

“At the same time, the program will contribute to the continued refinement of our three-dimensional geological model and help delineate future exploration targets across the property.”

Core Processing, Assaying and Quality Control

Drill core will be geologically logged, photographed and sampled under the supervision of Merouane Rachidi, P.Geo., Ph.D., of GoldMinds Geoservices, in accordance with the Company’s established sampling and QA/QC procedures.

Samples selected for analysis will be submitted to SGS and Swastika Laboratories. The Company intends to use both laboratory facilities as part of its analytical workflow to streamline sample processing and, where possible, reduce assay turnaround times as the drilling campaign progresses.

Using two laboratories is intended to give ESGold operational flexibility during the drilling campaign. All analytical results will remain subject to the Company’s QA/QC procedures and technical review before being publicly reported.

ESGold will provide regular updates on the progress of the drilling campaign and announce assay results following their receipt, verification and interpretation

Historical Estimates

Certain previous technical reports concerning the Montauban mine area have referenced historical estimates of mineralization. These historical estimates are not being treated by ESGold as current mineral resources or mineral reserves. A Qualified Person has not completed sufficient work to classify the historical estimates as current mineral resources or mineral reserves, and the Company intends to use new drilling and analytical data, together with other technical work as appropriate, to evaluate their relevance and determine whether a current mineral resource estimate may be warranted in the future.

Qualified Person

The scientific and technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Merouane Rachidi, Ph.D., P.Geo., an independent Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

ESGold Receives Exploration Authorization From Québec Government and Continues to Advance Its Permitted Tailings Reprocessing Project

Exploration Authorizations Clear the Way for Systematic Drilling of the Company’s Historical Crown Pillar and Priority Exploration Targets

Vancouver, BC – July 28, 2026 – ESGold Corp. (CSE:ESAU) (OTCQB:ESAUF) (FSE:Z7D) (“ESGold” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has received its Authorization of Impact-Causing Exploration Work (“ATI”) from Québec’s Ministère des Ressources naturelles et des Forêts for the Company’s planned drilling program at its 100%-owned Montauban Gold-Silver Project in Québec (“Montauban Project”).

Receipt of the ATI represents a major regulatory milestone for ESGold as the ATI allows the Company to proceed with final field preparations and contractor mobilization for its upcoming exploration program. The exploration program will be carried out concurrently with the continued development of ESGold’s fully permitted tailings reprocessing operation, which remains the Company’s primary near-term objective.

This initial exploration program will focus on systematically evaluating the historical crown-pillar mineralization and testing priority exploration targets developed through the integration of historical drilling, geological interpretation, Ambient Noise Tomography (“ANT”) data and ESGold’s evolving three-dimensional geological model.

Exploration Program Highlights

  • Tailings reprocessing remains the cornerstone of ESGold’s near-term strategy.
  • Exploration drilling is complementary and supports long-term growth.
  • ESGold has received the ATI required to conduct its planned drilling program at the Montauban Project.
  • Final drill-site preparations, access planning and contractor mobilization are now advancing.
  • Initial drilling will focus on the historical crown-pillar area and selected priority exploration targets.
  • Drill results will be incorporated into ESGold’s geological model and used to guide subsequent district-scale exploration.
  • ESGold is committed to transparent communication with local communities.

Planned Montauban Drill Program

The first component of the planned drill program will focus on the historical crown-pillar area, where ESGold intends to better define the geometry, continuity, thickness and grade distribution of the near-surface mineralization located within and surrounding the former mine workings.

The crown pillar represents an important target that has not previously been systematically evaluated using modern drilling, geophysics and three-dimensional geological modelling. Results from the program are expected to support an updated geological interpretation and guide future technical and resource evaluation work.

The Company also intends to test selected step-out and exploration targets identified through its ANT surveys, historical drilling and mine records, structural interpretation and integrated geological model.

ESGold’s initial ANT survey and subsequent modelling identified an interpreted mineralized corridor extending approximately 900 metres in depth and over at least two kilometres of strike within the original survey area. The interpreted system widened at depth and remained open where it reached the boundaries of the initial survey coverage.

The Company subsequently expanded its ANT survey coverage to approximately 70 square kilometres to investigate the broader geological architecture of the Montauban district and identify additional priority targets.

The planned drilling program will begin the process of directly testing these geological interpretations.

From Interpretation to Physical Proof

Over the past several years, ESGold has consolidated and digitized extensive historical exploration information, completed modern geophysical surveys and developed an integrated geological model that has materially advanced the Company’s understanding of the Montauban system.

Receipt of the ATI moves the exploration program from geological interpretation and target development into direct subsurface testing.

Drill core generated during the program will be logged, sampled and submitted to an accredited laboratory for analysis. Results will be incorporated into the Company’s geological model and used to refine the location and sequencing of subsequent drill targets.

“This is a major milestone for ESGold and the Montauban Project,” said Gordon Robb, Chief Executive Officer of ESGold Corp. “Receiving the ATI removes the principal regulatory dependency standing between the Company and the commencement of our planned exploration drilling.

“We have spent considerable time compiling historical information, completing modern geophysical work and developing an integrated geological model. We are now in a position to begin testing that work with the drill.

“Our initial focus will be the systematic evaluation of the historical crown pillar, together with priority targets generated through the integration of ANT imaging, historical drilling and structural interpretation. This is where geological interpretation begins to become physical proof.

“Exploration drilling will advance alongside construction of our permitted tailings to reprocessing operation. ESGold is now positioned to move both sides of its strategy forward: advancing the Montauban Project toward near-term operations while systematically evaluating the broader district-scale exploration opportunity.”

The exploration program complements, rather than changes, ESGold’s development strategy. While the Company continues advancing construction and commissioning of its permitted tailings processing operation, the drilling campaign is intended to strengthen the geological understanding of the Montauban district and support future exploration initiatives for the Company.

Next Steps for the Company

With the ATI now received, ESGold is finalizing drill-site preparation, access planning, contractor mobilization and the sequencing of its initial drill targets.

The program is expected to begin with drilling in the historical crown-pillar area, followed by targeted step-out holes designed to evaluate the potential continuation of mineralization along strike and at depth.

The Company’s next key exploration milestones will include:

  • Mobilization of drilling personnel and equipment;
  • Commencement of drilling;
  • Completion of the initial crown-pillar holes;
  • Core logging, sampling and laboratory analysis; and
  • Release and integration of initial assay results.

The location, sequence and scope of individual drill holes may be adjusted based on field conditions, geological observations and results received during the program.

Any potential future extraction of crown-pillar material remains subject to additional drilling, technical evaluation, engineering review, economic analysis and any further regulatory approvals that may be required.

This initial exploration program does not change the Company’s development priorities. The objective of this exploration program is to improve geological knowledge while construction and commissioning of the permitted tailings processing project continues.

Advancing Montauban on Two Fronts

This initial exploration program forms a central component of ESGold’s dual-track strategy at its Montauban Project.

In parallel with drilling, the Company continues to advance construction, equipment procurement and site development for its permitted tailings reprocessing operation.

The Company’s primary objective is to establish a near-term operating platform at Montauban while systematically testing the larger mineralized system surrounding the historical mining camp.

Receipt of the ATI adds a significant new catalyst to that strategy and provides ESGold with the authorization required to begin converting geological targets into drill-tested evidence.

Where feasible, ESGold intends to utilize local contractors, suppliers and service providers during the execution of this initial drill program.

About ESGold Corp

A Tailings-to-Cash Flow Model

ESGold’s core business model is built around the recovery of gold and silver from historic tailings left behind by previous mining operations at Montauban.

For decades, earlier operators focused primarily on base metals, leaving significant precious metals in historical tailings deposits. Modern metallurgical techniques now allow these materials to be economically processed.

  • Through its processing facility, ESGold is able to recover gold and silver from these historic tailings while simultaneously stabilizing and reclaiming legacy mine waste.

  • This model creates a unique opportunity to generate near-term revenue from material that has already been mined, crushed, and stored on site.

  • The result is a lower-risk pathway to production that avoids many of the capital and permitting challenges associated with traditional mine development.

  • At the same time, the cash flow generated from tailings processing provides a funding base for exploration across the broader Montauban district.

ESGold Corp. is a Canadian mining company advancing the Montauban Gold-Silver Project in Québec, a fully permitted tailings reprocessing operation designed to generate near-term production while supporting long-term exploration across the broader Montauban district.

The project sits within a historic polymetallic mining camp that produced gold, silver, zinc, and lead throughout the twentieth century. While past operators focused primarily on base metals, modern geological modelling now suggests the presence of a larger gold-silver system beneath and around the historic workings.

ESGold’s strategy combines near-term production from historic tailings with district-scale exploration, allowing the company to generate revenue while continuing to evaluate the broader mineralized system.

Located in central Québec, Montauban benefits from strong infrastructure, access to hydroelectric power, and a long history of mining activity in the region.

OUR MODEL – TAILINGS-TO-CASH

Using modern processing methods and a modular plant design, ESGold can extract value from material that was previously uneconomic to process. This approach provides a lower-risk pathway to production compared to traditional mine development. By generating early cash flow from tailings reprocessing, ESGold aims to fund ongoing exploration across the broader Montauban district.
