Gopher Protocol started its MESH system gateway design and implementation

San Diego, CA, October  24, 2018 — Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) (“Gopher”), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, including a global platform with both mobile and fixed solutions, has completed its MESH network NODE design and started its gateway design implementation.

 

A network gateway joins devices on one network so they can communicate with other devices on the same network. Gateways enable access and communication to the Internet, sending and receiving data. Our gateway is implemented using software and hardware combination to ensure smooth and secured operation. Gopher’s MESH network gateway receives radio signals and accesses the Internet to pass the data to a backend program. The backend program includes security mechanisms such as firewalls and proxies that are integrated with a mobile app to report the desired information. The final result is a  visual report through a web interface and mobile app.

San Diego, CA, October  9, 2018 — Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) (“Gopher”), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, including a global platform with both mobile and fixed solutions, provide synopsis of technology update, as followings:

 

Concluded an ALPHA Schematic for its MESH system Node component

 

Electrical schematics represent the most detailed category of electronic drawings. They depict every component in a circuit, the component’s technical information and how each component is wired into the circuit. Typically, this is the first stage before building an actual prototype for testing. Gopher is in process of developing its electronic circuit based on the drawings. The node is the mobile device that communicates with other nodes, passing along radio signals, in order to extend the range, which is a critical component of the MESH system under development. This unit most important task is to maintain coverage of areas. With the node design, Gopher focused on power consumption, performance, range, antenna, size and the capability to work with or without GPS signal synchronization. Gopher will design a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and build a prototype for physical testing of the unit.  After extensive testing, Gopher may improve the design further with the goal of creating a BETA version in order to finalize the device followed by field testing.

Gopher has successfully completed its Alpha Printed Circuit Board (PCB) prototype of its MESH system node, including its Firmware (FW). Gopher is now going to review the final PCB and test its overall functionality. The node hardware and FW will be tested for power management/consumption, internal operations, temperature control and more. The node prototype was constructed using Digi-Key/Mouser products. We started the firmware software development in order to achieve GPS signal lost mode. This is a significant functionality in order to maintain accurate and updated GEO location even when GPS signal is lost, for example inside tunnels or inside buildings] and next step is to test with the actual Alpha PCB. We also started the implementation of low power modes for sleep/wake system functionality.

I compare this initial testing to a patient’s vitals check.  After verifying the node’s overall functionality, it will be ready, in turn, to go to the overall system check. In addition, we started to implement one of the most important features of the system; the sleep/wake sub-systems. These features are crucial to ensure effective battery life and overall system performance.  After this phase completion, we are starting with the gateway, following similar design stages.”

 

 

Guardian Patch International PCT patent to be Published in Europe

Gopher is now the sole owner of the intellectual property rights for Guardian Patch. On September 25, 2018, Gopher entered and closed a Joint Venture Interest Purchase Agreement with Guardian Patch, LLC (“Guardian”) pursuant to which Gopher purchased Guardian’s 50% interest in a joint venture (the “JV Interest”) previously entered between the parties in March 2016 covering the Guardian Patch, Puzpix and Epsilon.  In consideration for the JV Interest, Gopher issued Guardian 12,500,000 shares of common stock.

 

The Guardian Patch is a communications device that is self adhesive and can be affixed to any object in order to track it anywhere on Earth.  The Guardian Patch can track object’s movements, in real time, at any location in the world, indoors, outdoors and underground.  The system can establish a location completely passively using its own radio technology. The Guardian Patch enables a whole new range of “real-life location analytics”. It could track exactly how many miles your object moved, cities/towns visited, velocity of travel, how long the object was at a specific location, altitude and temperature as well as the object’s current movement in real time. Gopher has commenced working on an advanced patent in the deep nanometer range, 3D microchip field. The microchip is targeted for GopherInsight™ chipset and for its future, derivatives integrated circuits. The technology is based on new concept microchip’s die orientation and the design will be focused on deep nanometer range, 10 nanometers and below.

Gopher Protocol Takes Next Step in MESH System Design

Developing Alpha Hardware Design of the Node

 

San Diego, CA, Sept. 18, 2018 — Gopher Protocol Inc. (OTCQB: GOPH) (“Gopher”), a company specializing in the creation of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence enabled mobile technologies, including a global platform with both mobile and fixed solutions,  announced today that it is moving to Alpha hardware design of its MESH system node unit.  Mesh Network (also referred to Mesh Topology) is a network topology in which devices are connected with many other interconnections between network nodes. In a true mesh topology every node has a connection to every other node in the network. A node is in a location processing unit.  A node can be any device that is connected to the network, such as a computer, transceiver, printer or any similar device. Every node has a unique network address, sometimes called a Data Link Control (DLC) address or Media Access Control (MAC) address.  Gopher has moved to the MESH network node hardware design, where it will seek to address critical topics like GPS sync, signal lose, providing an alternative RTC (Real Time Clock) solution in order to maintain continuous system’s operation and powerful MCU (Microcontroller Unit) selection in order to ensure fast and reliable response.

 

“The node hardware design is a major step in our MESH system design and we are investing extra efforts to provide smart and efficient functionality,” stated Danny Rittman, Gopher’s Chief Technology Officer. “We are reviewing GPS modules and in parallel looking to ensure continuous operation in the event of a GPS signal lose,” continued Dr. Rittman.  “It is our goal to maintain the system’s smooth operation especially in times when GPS signal sync is lost.  In order to achieve this goal, we are investing in the design of the RTC (Real Time Clock) sub-system. When developed, the unit’s internal RTC system will kick in the event there is a GPS sync signal lose and the system will maintain its operation.  In addition, during this phase, we review our node hardware components and select high performance major parts such as the MCU, RTC, GPS module and antenna.  I always compare a good hardware design to a philharmonic orchestra performance.  If all players do not play in meticulous harmony, the musical masterpiece will not sound well.  The same applies here.  If all components will not match, electrically/functionality/timing wise, the entire system will not perform well.  We are now building our first, main piece in this system with the goal of creating our masterpiece!”

Doug has senior-level sales, marketing and executive management experience in technology organizations, focusing on starting and building platform companies through organic and M&A growth. He has been a C-level executive in public and private technology companies and was part of a management team that conducted two “roll-ups” of technology companies totaling 18 companies.

DANNY RITTMAN • CTO

Dr. Rittman is the Director and Chief Technology Officer of GOPH. He is a software architect and an integrated circuit technology expert; he is also a semiconductor designer with over 20 years of experience with leading global tech companies including Intel, DEC, IBM, and Qualcomm.  Dr. Rittman has worked on many prestigious integrated circuits projects (Intel’s Pentium Pro, DEC’s Alpha chip, and others), and was the founder and CTO of BindKey Technologies, an EDA corporation that was acquired by DuPont Photo masks.  Dr. Rittman is a key figure in the EDA (electronic design automation) arena and has led numerous global software and hardware teams in the field.  Currently, he serves also as a Senior Integrated Circuit Consultant for Qualcomm/Max Linear; prior to GOPH, he was the Founder and CTO of Micrologic Design Automation.  Dr. Rittman’s early career was spent as a Software Senior Consultant at IBM, after having founded Bindkey Technologies.  He received his PhD and MSc in Computer Science from La Salle University.

 

MANSOUR KHATIB • CMO

Mr. Mansour combines his experience with big-box retailers, social media, and crowdfunding, which provides GOPH a competitive edge in sales and marketing.
