Hawkeye Systems Signs LOI with Major n95 Mask distributer in Taiwan to Rapidly Produce Smart Masks for Bio-surveillance Response to Coronavirus Outbreak

Hawkeye’s smart masks will enable better decision support for first responders and others monitoring the COVID-19 crisis

Los Angeles, CA  – February 28, 2020 – Hawkeye Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: HWKE) has entered into an LOI with Arizona Asian Pacific Trade and Consulting, a major protective mask company in Taiwan, to enable the rapid production of a customized smart mask to aid in the response to the coronavirus outbreak.

The smart mask will integrate with Hawkeye’s jointly developed in-depth camera, known as the Hawkeye [N-DEPTH] Body Camera, to bolster bio-surveillance by first responders and others monitoring and managing the global COVID-19 crisis.

To help generate better information and in turn, more effective decision support during pandemics, bio-terrorist attacks and other potential bio outbreaks, Hawkeye is working to add smart functionality to current best-in-breed masks (N95 or better). The advanced technology will work with existing masks as well, but the thought is that close integration with the manufacturer may bring more rapid innovation to the mask, said Corby Marshall, CEO of Hawkeye.

“The present COVID-19 situation throughout the world is obviously fluid and there are a lot of unknowns,” Marshall said. “We believe the application of this technology now with current best practices can help improve the data surrounding the crisis.”

He said the smart mask provides four key elements:

  1. Protection:The first line of defense for the wearer be it a consumer or first responder is protection from an airborne threat

  1. AI (artificial intelligence): The mask will be able to sense elevated temperature and presence of airborne pathogens.

  1. Platform: LIVE stream and hybrid cloud storage and sync platform integrates back to a broader bio-surveillance deployment thereby creating a better understanding of what is happening and how extensive it is for government, military and first responders.

  1. Mesh:A portable connected network, creating a highly versatile ad hoc system, which enables users to create Wi-Fi and or cellular connection on the fly in areas which do not support service.

A presentation with pictures and videos of the Hawkeye [IN-DEPTH] Body Camera system can be found on Hawkeye’s website at www.hawkeyesystemsinc.com

The Hawkeye [IN-DEPTH] Body Camera is not just a camera but also a platform that allows for interchangeable multi-camera sensors and optics, providing multi-field of view and specialty sensors such as infrared, thermal imaging, snake tube, pinhole, and camera sensor upgrade path. In addition, it includes an evidence management platform that preserves the chain of custody and flexible storage options that allow for the storage of video evidence on premise in the cloud, or both.

Hawkeye Systems’ Future Subsidiary Propels Next Evolution of Immersive Filmmaking with New Multi-Camera System

Radiant Images introduces The Meridian, a light field 6DoF (six degrees of freedom) capture system

Los Angeles, CA – January 22, 2020 – Hawkeye Systems, Inc (OTCQB: HWKE) is proud and excited to introduce future subsidiary Radiant Images’ Meridian, an innovative light field capture system that aims to push the next evolution of immersive content creation and filmmaking. The Meridian represents the holy grail for content: photographic 6DoF (six degrees of freedom).

Commissioned by Sony Electronics, Radiant Images has developed the world’s first truly portable light field camera system. The Meridian captures live-action 6DoF, footage that enables the viewer to move through and look around in while still maintaining the look and feel of live-action cinematography.

Until now, the screen acted as the ‘fourth wall’ separating the audience from the action in front of their eyes. With the Meridian, filmmakers remove the fourth wall and bring an audience into a VR environment without compromising image quality.

(Note: Video and images of The Meridian are available on the Hawkeye website at www.hawkeyesystemsinc.com).

“Immersive capture technology innovation is focused on moving beyond VR and allowing audiences the ability to move within their stories,” said Michael Mansouri, co-founder of Radiant Images. “This opportunity with Sony enabled us to explore new possibilities and achieve these forward-thinking solutions. With the Meridian, content creators can achieve truly impactful results.”

When viewing a light field volume from within it, the viewer can enjoy a truly lifelike, immersive sensation of virtual presence with full 6DoF, enabling movements forward-back, side-to-side, up-down or twisting one’s head. Though developed with the Sony RX0 in mind, The Meridian capture system – like most of Radiant’s innovations – is camera agnostic, meaning it can be used with a range of suitable cinematic cameras.

Radiant’s Meridian consists of 24 perfectly synchronized, equidistant Sony RXO cameras mounted inside each modular panel, also known as an array. The panels of cameras capture the light from all the various angles and vantage points that pass through the area, or frame. Acting as ‘windows’ into the virtual world, the panels can be stacked and arranged to accommodate shots of any size, from small tabletops to large landscape environments, to create the desired immersive environment and enable the viewer to break the fourth wall.

The versatile, portable Meridian makes the task of light field capture easier. Each Meridian panel measures 3-by-4 feet and contains 24 cameras in four rows and six columns. They can be built on top of one another depending on the shot, and arranged to capture virtual windows that content creators place inside of a VR environment. With enough panels on set, a content creator can carve out a large area for the user to move around inside.

Radiant has built a reputation as explorers and innovators in the area of capture technology, and its breakthrough achievements position the firm to continue to lead the industry to new heights and advancements.

About Hawkeye Systems

Hawkeye Systems, Inc. is an American next generation imaging technology company. It was founded by former members of the US Military who joined forces with Hollywood film production veterans to develop professional and military grade imaging products and services to assist with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

Radiant Images, soon to be a division of Hawkeye Systems, is a multi award winning technology provider to customers worldwide specializing in cinema, immersive, volumetric and light field image capture. TECHNOLOGY

AXA CAMERA SYSTEM

The AXA is the world’s most accurate and adaptive multi-camera system

The patent pending AXA Camera Platform is a system for capturing 360° images and video with 3D depth. Inspired by nature and the laws which govern physics and geometry, the design provides near-perfect spherical 360° capture beyond any system presently available.

VOLUMETRIC IMAGING

Volumetric Imaging combines the imaging data using cameras from multiple angles so you can create a depth map of the image or video. The distance to every point in the scene is captured to build up knowledge of the geometry of the scene, its objects, and the location of the camera when the images were taken. Using this information the 3D geometry of the scene can be reconstructed into a navigable space. Unlike standard 360 degree video where your point of view is fixed to the location of the camera, with Volumetric video, you can change your point of view freely. If a boxing match were captured with a volumetric video system a viewer could choose to enter the ring and view the fight as though they were the referee or one of the fighters.

The patent pending AXA camera system perfectly positions and aligns all of the cameras in the array allowing us to attain near-perfect spherical 360 capture beyond any system presently available. When you take the AXA sphere and scale it large enough to fit objects or people inside, you can point the cameras inwards to capture volumetric image data. By capturing the imaging data inside the perfectly aligned sphere from multiple viewpoints you create a depth map which allows you to turn the image data captured not just into stunning 360 video, but into photo-realistic 3D objects that can be moved, programmed and interacted with much like 3D objects in a video game.

SMART AI ENABLED CAMERA SYSTEMS

Body Worn Configuration

The Hawkeye Smart AI Enabled Camera Systems in Body Worn Configuration gives military and law enforcement personnel essential tools to be safer and more effective, whether collecting intelligence, evidence or assessing threats in the field.
